Lately, I have noticed that Grocery Bagging is a lost art. Nobody providing this service seems to have a clue. THis is especially true of the big box stores like Costco. They can’t even put your items in a cart properly. When you are placing my 40 gallon drum of crushed tomatos, don’t drop it from over your head. They chuck things in the cart like they are slinging fish at the Fulton Market. Have you ever seen four pounds of Cod? Come-on.

Cable TV Sound Mixing

It’s 2009 already. How is it possible that the cable industry has found it unwilling or unable to mix the sound on commercials so they are not 20 notches louder then the show I am watching. These executives are so stupid because in this day when DVRs and Tivo take most commercial watching away, if by chance I am watching live and a commercial comes on, I mute the TV because the commercial is yelling at me twice as loud as the TV show. This is regodamdiculous.

When did leaving a person a voicemail start to take 45 minutes? I have to listen to 2o rings, then their personal greeting then the “operator” telling me I can hang up when I am done or press one for more options. Unless one of these options is shut the fuck up and let me leave my 2 second message, I’m not interested. What’s a friggin’ callback number anyway?
